The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)
New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be conducted online on a limited scale next year for admission to technology institutes and deemed universities, the Central Board of Secondary Education said Monday.
The exam conducted by the CBSE will have the option for around one lakh candidates to appear in the exam online on a first-come-first-served basis.
While the usual written exam will be held April 24, 2011, the online exams will be held from May 1-15 for about one lakh candidates.
'For the first time, the board has also made a facility available for appearing in online examination for one lakh candidates on first-come-first-served basis in select 20 cities, with a maximum of 5,000 per city,' a CBSE official said.
Information on the exam next year will be available at various banks, educational institutions and regional offices of the board from Dec 15.
The facility for submission of online application will be available from Nov 23 on the AIEEE website.
The AIEEE exam is held for admission to the National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, several deemed universities and some state institutions.
Many private colleges also accept AIEEE ranks for admission.
More than 11 lakh candidates are expected to appear for AIEEE examination in its 10th edition next year seeking admission to engineering courses.

How much Water should I drink a day?
Like it or not Water is the essence of life and is needed by every cell in your body.
Approximately 60%-70% of your body is made up of water. It is the main ingredient of all body fluids, blood including lymph, digestive juices, urine, tears and sweat.
Knowing this, it makes sense to understand that water is involved in almost every bodily function such as, circulation, digestion, absorption and the all important elimination of pregnancy!
How much Water should I drink a day?
The amount you need varies from person to person depending on size, climate, diet and activity levels, but I would say that the recommended amount is for most people.
It is important to drink little and often to keep hydration topped up every hour! It isn't adviseable to drink it all in one go!
It is best to sip water through the day and never drink more than 2 pints in one hour. Do not exceed 6 pints in any day.
What type of Water is best?
Avoid tap water - tap water has been known to be safe to drink but the cleaning process may not clear many unwanted environmental pollutants that can cause harm and stress to the body. If you are drinking tap water I strongly advise you to invest in a home filter to take some of the nastier away.
Bottled water is a much better option than tap water, but watch for the sodium content level in these waters, you do not want those to be too high! There are of course more expensive options such as an under the sink filter that filters from the mains and comes via its on tap.
Important Tips
If you are not drinking any water at the moment then take it slowly by adding in more and more daily until you reach the recommended 2 litres.
If you start to drink 2 litres immediately, from not drinking any, it may make you feel sick and unwell as your body will go immediately into a detox and cleanse by releasing lots of toxins that will make you feel unwell.
Take small steps and build up to 2 litres gradually, that way the body will not become shocked.
2G spectrum controversy
The issue dates to 2008 when nine telecom companies were issued scarce airwaves and licences for second generation (2G) mobile phone services at Rs 1,658 crore (less that $350 million) for a pan-India operation. As many as 122 circle-wise licences were issued.
The opposition said that by giving the airwaves cheap, that too in the controversial manner of first-cum-first-served basis, the exchequer had lost billions of dollars. The cut-off date for applications was also arbitrarily advanced.
Later, based on the auction of airwaves for third generation (3G) services, which got nearly $15 billion to the exchequer, and that for broadband access, which fetched over $8.5 billion, the notional loss was estimated at $38 billion to the exchequer.
But Prime Minister Manmohan Singh himself defended Raja's decision and said May 24 that all that his communications minister had done was to implement a policy already in place and none of the norms were flouted.
The opposition further stepped up its attack with two examples on 2G auction:
* A new player, Swan Telecom, bought licences for 13 circles with the necessary spectrum for $340 million but managed to sell a 45-per cent stake in the company to UAE's Etisalat for $900 million. This swelled its valuation to $2 billion without a single subscriber.
* Another new player, Unitech, paid $365 million as licence fee but sold a 60-per cent stake to Norway's Talenor for $1.36 billion, taking its valuation to nearly $2 billion, again without a single subscriber.
Similarly, another licensor, Datacom, later became Videocon Mobile and Stel now has large stake by Baharian Telecom. The other companies are Tata Tele, Idea Cellular, Loop Telecom, Shyam Telelink and Spice.
As recently as last month, the Supreme Court asked the solicitor general why the prime minister had not responded to the representation by the opposition to sanction proceedings against Raja.
The final blow came after the Comptroller and Auditor General of India said the entire process of spectrum allocation was undertaken in an arbitrary manner and that the advise of the industry watchdog was ignored and misused.
Guzaarish Movie Review
This is my simple and honest review of the Hindi movie, Guzaarish that released on November 19, 2010. The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.
The movie is about a very talented magician (in fact, one of the most famous magicians) played by Hrithik Roshan. But due to a fatal accident during one of his most popular performances, he got severly paralyzed and had to stay in bed for 12 long years. How and what happened to Him? What happens after these 12 years? Well, that’s what the movie is all about.
To tell you the truth, Guzaarish is one of the best hindi movies I have watched in these past many months. But of course, there were some flaws, I believe. Specially the ending of the movie or the story. The the whole movie was great, but the ending was too straight and the climax was scatered. In fact, I waited for something to happen but the movie went on and it ended to my surprise! Of course, I could see the movie going straigt towards the end and the story was predictable. If it would have had a twist or something or a whole different story ending, I believe it would have been a masterpiece.
The role of Aditya Roy Kapoor was also not fully protrayed. The movie was more of a drama and the story, although very much touching, was not too refined to hit right at the heart (or brain!). The story tend to involve all of Hrithik, Aishwarya and Aditya in the whole course, yet it failed to make the climax memorable and leave a mark upon us.
As I said, the whole movie was great. The acting, camera, direction, all seemed near perfect. All the characters played their parts very well. But unless you see it yourself, you may not believe me. So, go watch it.

i want to tell you one thing which is about me and ours future. If I make a gazette and sell it in US. I get money and increase ours Indian economy, but when I buy a gazette or anything we will be paid for it now we increase the US economy. I do not understand when we increase America economy where is our profit.
Our economic condition is not so good, our country have also the problem of unemployment, now I do not understand why we are not talking about our employment in our country many unemployment person want a job for live better.
On other hand we also want to talk about terrorism. Why I beg from America ‘pl. help us’ pl. save us from Pakistan. But I heard I have second number in best and big army force in world. I do not understand where is our self respect why I am begging?
